Originally invented by a Belgian bookbinder in the mid-1980s. this fascinating non-adhesive book structure features a 3-piece cover and a distinct, woven-like sewing technique of this binding allows for the book to be flexible yet firm as well as to open completely flat, making it perfect for many uses. In this workshop, experience the making of wood covers and staining, together with a hand sewn Secret Belgium bounded book.
